25-year-old Australian Marinko Matesevic has been given a wild card to this year’s Australian Open, but he faces a tough opening round match against Lithuanian youngster Ricardis Berankis on Tuesday.

The 20-year-old may only be ranked 86th in the world, but he is certain to move into the top 50 this year and it wouldn’t be a huge shock to see him move into the top 20. This is Berankis’ first Australian Open and having already made it to the second round in his debut at Wimbledon and the US Open, it is safe to assume that he can do the same in Melbourne, at odds of 1.36.
