Eurosport presenter and former British tennis star Greg Rusedski has backed Novak Djokovic to retain his Australian Open title in Melbourne this month.
Greg Rusedski is Eurosport's chief tennis pundit and the former British star has shared his opinions on this year's Australian Open, ahead of the start of the tournament on Monday.
The 31-year-old, who reached a career high ranking of number four after reaching the final of the US Open in 1997, has claimed that he expects world number one Novak Djokovic to win the first Grand Slam of 2012.
"Djokovic is my favourite for the event," said Rusedski.
"After the US Open, the Serb looked physically and mentally done, he had the shoulder problem. But in Abu Dhabi he beat Federer 6-2 6-1 and then David Ferrer, who gives you nothing, also 2&1, in that exhibition at the end of the year."
Djokovic is a best price of 27/20 at
