Australian Open - Roger Federer v Tommy Robredo live stream

Roger Federer goes for his tenth win over Tommy Robredo in the fourth round of the Australian Open 2011.

Federer broke Stefan Edberg's record for the most Australian Open wins ever on Friday with his straight sets win over Xavier Malisse and he is hot favourite to add yet another to his tally tonight.

The draw has been kind to Federer in pitting him against Robredo. Federer has won nine of his ten matches against the Spaniard and that sole loss came way back in 2002. Federer has also made a bit of a habit in knocking Robredo out of the latter stages of Grand Slams, having done so in Melbourne, Paris and New York over the past few years. Back in 2007 he beat him 6-3, 7-6, 7-5 in the Australian Open quarter-finals.

Robredo has had a few lean seasons since he reached a career high ranking of five a few years back. He's even been struggling on clay and has slipped to 52 in the rankings but he's done well so far in Australia, knocking out Mardy Fish in four sets in the second round.

Robredo's perennial problem against Federer is that he does not have enough to hurt the Swiss, particularly over five sets. Robredo likes to counter-punch but Federer's weight of shot is generally just too big particularly on this surface.
