Andy Murray continued his impressive early season form with a comfortable straight sets victory over Spaniard Marcel Granollers to reach the 3rd round of the Australian Open in Melbourne, he remains the 11-4 second favourite with Coral bookmakers.
Murray, who was an unbackable 1-100 favourite for the game dropped only 8 games and will now face the number 31 seed, Austrian Jurgen Meltzer in the next round where Coral make the Scot 1-16 for victory, Meltzer can be backed at 7-1.
"Murray looks fitter and faster with each match he plays and has yet to lose this year, he is definitely the player to beat in this years first Grand Slam, despite what some of his fellow opponents think," said Coral's spokesman Gary Burton.
Number one seed and Murray's likely semi final opponent Rafa Nadal had an equally comfortable victory over the Croatian Roko Karanusic for the loss of only 7 games.
In the women's draw there was a major shock when number 6 seed and tournament favourite Venus Williams was beaten by Spanish youngster Carlo Suarez Navarro.
Navarro, a 500-1 outsider prior to the game, was cut to 40-1 by bookies Coral and will now meet fellow Spaniard Mario Jose Martinez Sanchez for a place in round 4.
