The odds of Andy Murray winning his first major in 2009 have taken a battering since he crashed out of the Australian Open.
Paddy Power now offers just 2/5 that Murray fails to win Wimbledon, the US Open or French Open this year.
Murray’s five-set loss has seen the chances of him lifting his first major in 2009 drift from an odds-on 10/11 to a more realistic 7/4.
Murray’s Wimbledon chances have also drifted from 4/1 to 9/2.
Darren Haines, spokesman for Paddy Power, said: "The Murray Major is what every bookie is fearing in 2009 with a mountain of patriotic punts riding on the Scot and 7/4 still suggests he has a great chance to lift one of the three remaining grand slams.
"However his defeat Down Under has perhaps served as a reality check that's he not quite as ready as some suggest."
